1. Who We Are

AJL Transfer (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a premium chauffeur and transfer service operated by keeptuned.com GmbH, registered in Switzerland. These Terms govern your access to our website ajltransfer.com (the “Site”) and your use of our services including airport transfers, inter-city rides, hourly hire, and special event limousine services (the “Services”).

2. Definitions

  • Ride: a confirmed booking with pickup and dropoff details, date/time, vehicle class, and price.
  • Customer/you: the contracting party, whether an individual or an organization.
  • Partner Operator: a vetted, licensed carrier engaged by us to perform a Ride.
  • Vehicle Class: Economy/Business/Executive sedan, V-Class/van, Sprinter/minibus, bus.

3. Scope & Contract

By using the Site, creating an account, or booking a Ride you accept these Terms. A binding contract is formed when we send your booking confirmation. If you book for a group or company, you confirm you are authorized to bind that party and you share these Terms with the passengers.

4. Accounts & Eligibility

  • Provide accurate information and keep it current.
  • You’re responsible for all activities under your login; keep credentials secure.
  • Minimum age for account holders is 18. Minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

5. Quotes, Pricing & Payment

  • Displayed prices: Prices shown at checkout apply for the selected route/zone or hourly package and include taxes/fees unless stated otherwise. Pricing may be fixed-route (e.g., Zurich Airport → City) or zone/hourly based, depending on pickup/dropoff and vehicle class.
  • What’s included: the booked Vehicle Class with professional chauffeur and standard inclusions shown during checkout (e.g., meet-and-greet, flight tracking where available, included waiting time, mileage allowance for hourly bookings).
  • Extras & surcharges: child seats, additional stops, out-of-route mileage, night service, public-holiday service, tolls, parking, car-park/terminal fees, or cleaning due to misuse may be charged per published or agreed rates.
  • Payment: processed via the methods displayed (e.g., Stripe). You authorize us to charge the total fare and, where applicable, post-trip adjustments for approved extras, overtime, or scope changes.
  • Material discrepancies: If passenger/luggage counts, addresses, access restrictions, or timing differ materially from the booking, we may reprice, offer an alternative, or refuse service with applicable fees.
  • Currency: Settlement currency is shown at checkout; your card issuer may apply FX fees.

6. Changes, Cancellations & No-Show

  • Changes: Request via your confirmation link or support. Changes are subject to availability and may affect price.
  • Cancellation policy: unless otherwise stated in your confirmation, free cancellation up to 24 hours before pickup; thereafter 100% is chargeable.
  • No-show: If the passenger is unreachable and not present after included waiting time, the Ride may be deemed a no-show and fully chargeable.
  • Early/late pick-ups: Out-of-hours service may require confirmation and surcharges in certain cities.

Additional stops and overtime beyond the booked scope may be billed at published or agreed rates. Overtime during hourly hire is rounded to the next started 30 minutes unless stated otherwise.

8. Vehicle Class, Substitution & Upgrades

We aim to provide the exact class booked. If unavailable, we may supply a same-or-higher class at no extra charge. On-site upgrades requested by you will be billed accordingly. Images on the Site are illustrative; exact models may vary by location.

9. Conduct, Safety & Restrictions

  • Seatbelts are mandatory; local child-restraint laws apply.
  • No smoking, illegal substances, or hazardous materials. Open alcohol subject to local law.
  • Drivers may refuse service where safety, legality, capacity, or vehicle integrity is at risk.
  • Damage, soiling, or special cleaning due to misuse may be charged.
  • Pets in carriers upon advance notice; service animals accommodated as required by law.

10. Accessibility & Special Requests

We strive to accommodate mobility aids, child seats, language preferences, and other needs with advance notice. Availability depends on location and vehicle type. For guaranteed availability, please specify during booking.

11. Delays, Force Majeure & Limits of Liability

We are not liable for delays or non-performance caused by events beyond our reasonable control (traffic, weather, road closures, strikes, accidents, public-authority controls, force majeure). To the maximum extent permitted by Swiss law, we exclude indirect and consequential losses (e.g., missed flights, loss of profits). Our aggregate liability per booking is limited to the amount paid for that booking, excluding cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct under applicable law.

12. Lost Property

Contact us promptly if you believe you left an item in a vehicle. We will make reasonable efforts to assist. Shipping/handling and customs charges (if any) are at your cost. We are not responsible for unattended belongings.

13. Partner Operators

We may delegate Ride performance to licensed Partner Operators who meet our standards. Unless otherwise stated in the confirmation, your contract remains with AJL Transfer.

14. Intellectual Property

The AJL Transfer brand, logos, Site design, text, graphics, and software are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, adapt, or redistribute any content without written permission, except as permitted by law.

15. Data Protection & Privacy

We process personal data in line with Swiss nFADP and, where applicable, the EU GDPR. For details on the data we collect, purposes, legal bases, sharing, retention, transfers, your rights, and security, please see our Privacy Policy.

16. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Swiss law. Exclusive place of jurisdiction is Zurich, Switzerland, subject to mandatory consumer protection rules that may grant you additional rights in your country of residence.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in force at booking applies to that booking. We will post changes with an updated “Last updated” date.
